Graves County High School senior Kendall Tubbs and his fellow members of the Class of 2020 undoubtedly will have unique memories of their senior year and graduation. He was the first to pick up his cap and gown in the drive-through car line Tuesday, May 12, for the drive-through commencement scheduled for the Friday evening that follows it. Greeting him is assistant principal Michael Cole. Their facemasks serve as an unmistakable sign of the times of the coronavirus pandemic, a.k.a. COVID-19. School officials hope to hold a more traditional commencement for the senior class this summer.
