Commonwealth Honors Academy

Five Graves County High School students have received acceptance to Murray State University’s 2022 Commonwealth Honors Academy.  Congratulations to GCHS juniors Brooklyn Williams, Madison Kinsey, Mia Hancock, Anna Grace Fowler and Macy Marler.

MSU shares that academy students are chosen based on a variety of qualities and accomplishments, including academic performance, maturity and character, leadership, writing ability, curricular strength, extracurricular activities, and overall potential.

The Commonwealth Honors Academy is a three-week residential program held in June on Murray State’s campus. The students enroll in free college courses and have the opportunity to register for additional classes during their senior year.  Completion of the program also includes future scholarships toward housing if the students choose to attend MSU after high school.

2022 CHA students, we are proud of you!
