On January 20, FNB Bank made a donation of over $79,000 to the GCSD district, along with Trigg County and Mayfield School Systems.
Since 2006, the banking company has donated to Graves County Schools through the Spirit Debit Card Rewards Program. Participating in this program allows a $0.10 donation to be made to the customer’s corresponding school for each purchase made with a Spirit Debit Card. In 2019, FNB Bank donated over $77,000 to the same school systems.
Brooke Wiles, FNB Marketing Director, said they’re always happy to find ways to give back to community schools, but especially this year considering the additional stress the COVID-19 pandemic has created. “Our local schools have had to face one of the most challenging years and our hope is that the donated funds from our Spirit Debit Card Program assist with funding new projects and opportunities that benefit students and staff,” Wiles said.
On behalf of the students and staff of the Graves County School System, thank you to Ms. Wiles and FNB Bank!
