Graves County Schools daycare centers' opening set for Wednesday, Aug. 9, at Fancy Farm, Farmington; GCMS site delayed slightly longer

The Graves County Schools' new daycare centers will open at Fancy Farm and Farmington elementary schools Wednesday, Aug. 9. Immunization records and tuition will be due at that time. However, tuition will be pro-rated ($15 per child for half day, $25 per child for full day), since the opening is delayed from plans to start Monday, Aug. 7.

Opening of the daycare center at Graves County Middle School will be delayed a little longer. Rooms there still are being customized for young children from the rooms' previous use for middle school students. Middle School daycare families have the option to take their daycare children to Fancy Farm or Farmington until the Middle School construction is complete.

School district officials regret the delay and any inconvenience it might cause. For more information, please email courtney.hayden@graves.kyschools.us or phone her at 270-328-4992.
