Graves High senior Alec McClain to be recognized for community service at 2017 FBLA National Conference
Graves County High School senior and Future Business Leaders of America chapter co-president Alec McClain recently earned national recognition for achieving the FBLA CSA Achievement Award. This Community Service Award is a three-tiered award based on the number of community service hours a student completes. The first level is the community level (50 hours), the second level is service level (200 hours), and the top level is achievement level (500 hours). McClain logged some 505 hours to achieve this impressive award. His many hours of dedication consisted of time spent raising money for the Youth Services Center, organizing Beta Basketball, and helping students in credit recovery. He will be recognized and awarded his CSA pin in June at the FBLA National Conference in Anaheim, Calif. Mechelle Gattis is the chapter sponsor.
