WHAS Crusade for Children
Located in the front office you will find a donation container for WHAS Crusade for Children. This organization provides grants for non-profit agencies that help with children under 18 with special needs. Symsonia Elementary received several items this school year from WHAS. This year as well as last year, we have applied for the WHAS grant. The Crusade is able to return all of their donations to organizations that service special need children in the state of Kentucky and Southern Indiana. If you would like to donate please place it in container in the front office or you can call 502-582-7706.
Symsonia Elementary Kindness Club are quickly making a difference at Symsoina. They would like your help with the following: They are collecting can tabs for the Ronald McDonald House and plastic tops (water bottles, milk, gatorade etc.) to help make a Buddy Bench to use during recess. The Buddy Bench will require 400 pounds of plastic tops. Please consider starting to collect both the tabs and tops at your house. Together we can make a difference!
